With sunny weather forecast for the first week in April and warmer temperatures on the horizon, now’s the time more than ever to get some fresh air and work around the house. You can plan a planting project to do with the youngsters to dress up the beds or add a touch of class to any porch, patio or outdoor living area.
Now in our 52nd year, Goffle Brook Farms has developed into a full-service garden center offering a quality selection of shrubs, annuals, perennials, roses, vegetables, bulbs, herbs, houseplants, tropicals, pottery, soil, mulches, and lawn care products, and a diverse and unique selection of garden decor, complete with our own “potting shed” for classes and events throughout the garden seasons.
Within the scope of gardening, some plants blur the boundary between being simply and stunningly beautiful and being edible. Capsicum annuum, ornamental pepper, is definitely a case of an edible, making the crossover to the ornate.
New this year at Goffle Brook Farms is our Potting Shed wherein you can create your own stunning containers for the porch, patio, or garden with expert help and advice right at your fingertips. Choose your plants, select your potting mix and/or soil, don't forget the fertilizer, add a tad of mulch to help keep the growing medium moist and if you want to fancy it up you can choose a small unique piece of garden decor to liven it up.
