It’s true! Planting perennials in late summer and early fall is an excellent way to get a jump start to enjoy a bigger, more beautiful, and more bountiful garden the following year. While most gardeners are more accustomed to planting in spring, now is also an ideal time to get perennials established in your garden. Plants planted at the end of summer enter a hospitable environment due to more reliable rainfalls and lower, less hostile temperatures.
Goffle Brook Farms was honored to be a participant in the Hawthorne N.J. 8th Annual Green Fair. The purpose of the fair is to educate the community about sustainability—social, economic and environmental aspects—as well as buying locally, resource conservation, and health and wellness. Goffle Brook Farms shared a booth with Lincoln Landscaping of Franklin Lakes, promoting native plants in the landscape.
